Handheld PDA
The handheld PDA is a tool which supports the ability to monitor the skin temperature trends of every soldier. It’s equipped with proprietary software specifically for heat monitoring.
The system is equipped with a custom RF tag and assembly that gathers heat data and transmits it to a handheld PDA. The data can be downloaded to a user’s computer and reports are generated that detail dates, times, and skin temperature readings for each soldier. If a soldier reaches a dangerous heat stress zone, an alert will show on the PDA as to which individual needs to be evaluated.
