The Hothead “Reader” can be positioned in the war wagon and wirelessly transmit the crew’s skin temperature every ten seconds to a laptop loaded with the H.O.T. System desktop software. That device displays their current skin temperature, and signals an audible and visual alert if a crew member hits a pre-set threshold temperature—notifying you to immediately check that individual’s condition and PREVENT heat illnesses before they strike. If alerted, you will immediately see that crew member’s personal information, including known medical conditions, emergency contacts, and other critical data.
